New Chelsea boss, Graham Potter says his side were brilliant in their 1-1 Champions League draw against Salzburg on Wednesday, insisting he was “proud” of them.

It was Potter’s first game in charge of the Blues after he replaced Thomas Tuchel as Chelsea manager last week.

Though many fans and pundits have described his first at Stamford Bridge as disappointing, Potter told reporters after the match that he was proud of his team.

Raheem Sterling’s opener for Chelsea was cancelled out by Noah Okafor in the 75th minute.
